Technical Characteristics of DYT Permanent Magnet Coupler
DYT permanent magnet coupler, also known as magnetic coupler, is a device that realizes the transmission of torque from the motor to the load through the air gap between the conductor and the permanent magnet, and can realize the transmission mode without mechanical connection between the motor and the load. Its working principle is that when they move relative to each other, the conductor assembly cuts the magnetic lines of force and generates eddy currents in the conductor. The eddy currents then generate a repulsive magnetic field, which interacts with the magnetic field generated by the permanent magnet, thereby achieving torque transmission between the two.
DYT permanent magnet couplers are divided into inner magnets and outer magnets. Its working principle is that the outer magnet is driven by a motor, and then the outer magnet transmits power to the inner magnet.
