DYT permanent magnet coupler mainly solves the problems of centering, soft start and overload protection in rotating loads through the induction of permanent magnets and copper conductors. By adjusting the load speed, the transmission efficiency can be improved and the purpose of energy saving can be achieved. Used to replace the frequency converter or fluid coupling.

The working principle of DYT permanent magnet coupler: It is mainly composed of copper rotor and permanent magnet rotor, and the speed control type increases the controller mechanism. The copper rotor is connected with the shaft end of the motor, and the permanent magnet rotor is connected with the shaft of the working machine. There is an air gap between the copper rotor and the permanent magnet rotor, and there is no mechanical connection transmission. In this way, a soft (magnetic) connection is formed between the motor and the working machine, and the torque and speed of the working machine shaft can be changed by adjusting the air gap.

The speed control DYT permanent magnet coupler mainly increases the controller. When the air gap is small, the transmission capacity of the speed regulating device is strong; on the contrary, when the air gap is large, the transmission capacity is small, and the controller can adjust the size of the air gap manually or by control signals. For automatic control systems, when the controller receives a control signal (such as a signal that the system needs to adjust pressure, flow, or liquid level), the controller recognizes, calculates, and converts the signal. When an adjustment command is given to the actuator, the actuator will adjust the air gap between the copper rotor and the permanent magnet rotor, thereby changing the working point of the working machine, that is, adjusting the speed and torque of the working machine.

The DYT permanent magnet coupler drives the load through the torque required by the slip, and the torque required by the load determines the slip of the permanent magnet eddy current drive. Change the air gap of the DYT permanent magnet coupler to obtain different torque characteristic curves, change the transmitted torque to obtain different slip, and control the speed of the output load.
